Cayla in action as Goalie
So it is official. After 11 years of dodging the bullet, I am now a Soccer Mom. Cayla takes great pleasure now in introducing me to people as "This is my mom Lilia, or as I like to call her, 'Soccer Mom'." This morning was game #2 -- we had to be there at 7:30am, dressed and ready to go. I keep asking Betsie and Judy where the liquor is, but so far have been unsuccessful in getting together a round of mimosas. Maybe if we make it to playoffs. Cayla rocks the house though, and excels both at playing goalie and working the field as a striker. I'm very proud of her.
